Thinning and Hardening Off

Short update today.

Broccoli cotyledons turning yellow.  Pinched off the yellowed ones.



Butternut cotyledons turning yellow and...brown.  Cut off.



This is either zucchini or butternut.  I cut off the browning parts.



Same plant as above, to show root growth.  Jeez!

 

I've turned an oscillating fan (lowest setting) on my seedlings for about 30 min to an hour at a time each day, twice a day.  You can see the results in this tomato stem (top is about the thickness before; bottom is new thickness).
